The wine is made from Saperavi grape variety, which is grown in Kakheti region – Akhasheni micro-zone. It has been produced since 1958. This wine has a dark pomegranate color, distinctive taste and varietal aroma. Akhasheni is an ideal accompaniment to meat dishes and spicy meals.
