This very beautiful wine is made from Saperavi grape veriety grown in the Kakheti region, Eastern Georgia. The microclimate here is impacted by the towering Caucasus mountains with favorable thermal conditions created by black shale river rock. This is a unique expression of Saperavi with special characteristics that come out in this high quality naturally semi-sweet wine. Kindzmarauli has a deep pomegranate color, rich harmonic and extractive body with ripe cherry tones, and an intense fruity bouquet. It has a vibrant finish with delicate tannins and elegant sweetness. It can be served with aged sheep’s milk cheeses and meat dishes.
